For most of my life I have danced with three gifts: writing, a gift my mother gave me; photography from my father was passionate about it, and because early on I displayed a real enthusiasm for drawing and an utter lack of talent. The third one was a willingness to teach, although in the early days of my career I demonstrated remarkable ineptitude.
Of late I have come to realise what all three have in common; they are about communication, about bearing witness. When I came to this awareness, many pennies fell into place, and I have after a half-century on Mother Earth, begun to understand my life’s purpose. Much of my journey has been informed by my relationship with my Creator
Making photographs has formed the core of my journeying and having the time to travel and guide others is a pearl beyond price for me. Increasingly however I am drawn to express myself , what I observe and understand, using text as well as images.
If any of these musings bring you a little clarity or joy or peace, then this site is fulfilling its purpose.
